In Intermediate Arts Club, we explored the thaumatrope—a simple spinning device that combines images into one when rotated quickly. It’s one of the earliest ways to understand motion in animation! 🎨✨We also made flip-books to explore animation frame by frames @StJoesActon

Day-O! Daaaay-o! Daylight come & me want to go home! One really cool thing growing up was that my dad animated the Emmy winning cartoon series-Bettlejuice! Today I shared some original stills from the show, & students helped create bugs for our Bettlejuice door. @StJoesActon🐛 🐞

I love how these foam shape-inspired haunted houses turned out! Students used a mix of shapes, paint, and a lot of creativity to bring them to life. Not sure what’s scarier—the Haunted houses or the mess we had to clean up! 👻 Shape is an important element of art! @StJoesActon

Feeling so grateful for my dear friend Mrs. Desousa, who hand-crafted 36 stunning ocarinas using her 3D printer and gifted them to our music room. The students had such a blast learning Christmas songs on them today🎶✨@StJoesActon
