Students fixed all of my math mistakes today in our brain warm-up! They then finished our pattern unit by making some spooky patterns. 🎃

Students did a great job writing about their monsters! Today we guessed which monster belonged to each student as they read their description.

Grade 1 students were very proud of their Remembrance Day writing and artwork on display at our school’s Remembrance Day ceremony❤️

After learning about Diwali, students used teamwork to create rangolis using chalk.

With the colder weather coming, grade 1s created posters to help grade primary students get winter ready before going outside.❄️

Today, grade one students began learning how to turn their writing into their very own book using book creator!

Grade one students are learning to use nonfiction books to research and write about animals.📖✏️

Grade 1’s are practicing their research skills to answer the question “How and what does your animal eat?”. Students are able to learn new things from nonfiction text! CB-VRCE_NS
