Being someone who has two degrees in history and continues to study history is maddening right now. Watching people ignore history or flat out make stuff up to suit their own narratives and agendas is honestly the worst.

And let me be clear, it doesn’t matter what political party anyone is in- people across the board are doing it and it’s to the detriment of us all.

Amelia was having a full on conversation babbling at the Alexa dot and at the end of what she had to say I heard her say “thank you byyyye.” LOL so cute!

I found out today that I was nominated for teacher of the year at my school along with two other really fantastic teachers. To be in such wonderful company and to be nominated made me feel so good today and I honestly needed that lift. Thank you to whomever nominated me! 🥹

Not me watching the same documentary about Edward III every night this week and falling asleep before I watch it all and the next night thinking I’ll make it but don’t so I just keep restarting it hoping I’ll remember everything and watch it all.

Allergies and congestion + 2 year old who already has difficulty sleeping= mommy, daddy and Amelia awake at 12:40 AM watching Sesame Street until Amelia relaxes enough to fall asleep again.

Thankful for the week of rest, but I just wish I felt better already. Praying that my doctor calls me tmrw regarding my CT scan. He is pretty sure I have kidney stones based on the symptoms I’ve had. Just wish I’d either pass them or get the show in the road to feeling better.
