We’ve had so much fun learning about cooperation with CharacterStrong! This teamwork activity of working together to create a picture was the perfect way to bring the concept to life. Loved seeing the collaboration in action!

Today, I got to tell my first graders that I’ll be moving up to second grade with them next year! I’m beyond excited for the opportunity to continue learning and growing with this amazing group of kids.

Today we started our responsibility Peep Project! Each student adopted a Peep and will take care of it all week. Every act of responsibility earns them some “Bunny Money” to spend at our Hop Shop on Friday! I’m excited to watch these learners grow in responsibility this week!

Our A-Z countdown to the last day of school is officially underway, and today was a success with ‘C’ for Craft Day! Students had a blast creating some fun, free choice craft projects.

I is for Ice Cream Day! Today we learned the science behind how ice cream is made by making our own in a bag. It was a cool experiment with an even cooler treat at the end!

SM School District 5K was a great way to start our morning! Tomahawk Elementary

What a great day to be part of SM School District! We kicked things off this morning with the 5K Family Fun Run and wrapped up the night supporting Tomahawk Elementary at our Chipotle fundraiser. #AllinSMSD

Today was our school wide glow party and to celebrate, I wrote a word on each student’s arm that HIGHLIGHTS what makes them GLOW✨

Last day of school with this sweet bunch of firsties! I’ve loved getting to watch them grow this year. Next up, we’re all off to second grade together!
