The children worked very diligently to create these lovely cards for Mother’s Day. They had a lot of cutting to do and also came up with 5 special reasons for why they love their mums. Well done to all! We hope all the mums like them 💐 St. Anne's Mixed N.S.

Great excitement this afternoon! We’ve been learning all about the different food groups over the past two weeks and today we rewarded ourselves with some delicious and nutritious smoothies 🍎🍌🍓🥤St. Anne's Mixed N.S.

We had a very impressive performance from our ‘Fire Girls’ and ‘Active Girls’ in the talent show this week. The class and I were so proud of them! 👏🏻 🤸‍♀️ 👯‍♀️ St. Anne's Mixed N.S.

We were inspired by all of the rain this week! The children mixed colours and painted all different kinds of umbrellas 🧑‍🎨 🎨 ☔️ St. Anne's Mixed N.S.

We are making our own rock candy this week! Today we had to dissolve copious amounts of sugar in water over a hot plate and set up our jars. Hopefully we will see crystals developing over the next few days as the solution cools 👀🤞 **watch this space** St. Anne's Mixed N.S.

Update: On Day 3, significant sugar crystals have formed in many of the jars. They will be ready to eat very soon! 😄 St. Anne's Mixed N.S.

One week later, the children were able to eat their fully developed rock candy!! Some of them looked fantastic and apparently they were delicious too 😋 we all really enjoyed observing the changes in the solution over the week! St. Anne's Mixed N.S.
