It amazes me how many people talk lots about education, tell others how to do education or are even paid to speak about education but haven’t or don’t actually work routinely with kids in schools

That's the exam over, and with it, my annual few weeks as a YouTuber.

When teachers are unable to tell pupils how to construct answers to exam questions, how long to spend on each question & how to effectively deploy factual knowledge to form arguments that get marks then I think it’s fair to say subject knowledge really does matter.

I've gone and bought a DJI Neo. Also got a Tello - at what point does it become a squadron? It's meant to complement the Mini 3 Pro indoors and (gently) get me into zoomy indoor FPV stuff 🫡

If we want to break the link between background & success then statements such as grades don’t make kids happy need to go where they belong, in a bin. Of course we want kids to enjoy school & learning but grades matter & open up so many doors for them.

I've only had my #DJINeo properly for a couple of weeks, but it's got more airborne time this week than my bigger drone has in the last year (M3 Pro) 😬 I'm using the Goggles N3 and motion controller (for now) Most fun flying with a drone since I got my first Spark in 2019 🪦
