P6 scooting into the summer holidays 😎🛴

Hall out of action, rain, P4 retreated to the wildlife garden for part of their PE today. If in doubt, get the blindfolds out 😁

Our school football club has grown significantly over the last 2 years, and a large part of that is to do with the young people in this photo. They voiced for years to get a Prestonfield Nursery and Primary School school football team up and running, and they did it! 💪⚽️ beyond proud ❤️

P6 and P7 have been working towards become Playground Leaders over the last couple of weeks! This is part of our PEPAS Leadership Team’s action plan to develop leadership skills through sport and physical activity 💪

P3 have been working on their balancing and moving safely as part of their intense Astronaut Training this term 🚀👨‍🚀

Right guys, can you practice skipping like I’ve asked you… Oh wait, that’s actually quite cool 😂😂 P4 have been trying their best to beat their skipping records they set in P3 😎

P6 getting to grips with ‘Capture the Yoda’, fully immersed in their roles as Jedi and Sith 🌌🔴🔵 We’ve mastered levels 1 and 2, hoping to make it to level 4 next week 😅

HWB Week kicking off tomorrow! Join us from 8.10 in the playground for some breakfast, basketball, football, dance and tennis 🎾🏀⚽️🕺🏻🥞🍇🍌

It’s Health & Well-Being week! 🍎🏃🏽‍♂️🧘🏼‍♀️🌿 This afternoon we went on a Yoga adventure with Jaime from Jaime Cosmic Kids it was lots of fun! 🐬 Was great to see a few of P1 at the launch breakfast this morning too! #PrestonfieldP1 #HWBweek

Today we were joined by Richard, one of our local tennis coaches who put on some fun sessions for P4-P7. There’s a club at Liberton High School on a Friday afternoon for anyone who fancies more tennis. We also have Craigmillar Park and Priestfield Tennis Clubs on our doorstep 🎾

P6 enjoyed learning two new maths/number games today. Risky 6 and Battlecubes 💪

Today, the whole school took part in Taekwondo with the LEGENDARY Mr Budge. As popular as ever 😀Taekwondo classes up at Liberton High School on a Tuesday from 4.45 👍

P3-P7 enjoyed judo tasters with Reece and Espirit yesterday. Here’s P7 using superheroes to coach some of the self defence movements in the sport 🥋

Yesterday we were joined by the Bill from NUVOC Volleyball for some volleyball. We always look forward to Bill visiting. There was defo some keen beans in P6 🏐
