Twitter! You have until 12pm tomorrow to vote! Go do it if you haven’t already, and vote for candidates that value housing, better transport and climate action (especially City Vision)!

FYI polls close at midday for some reason so you'll need to get out to a voting box within the next hour if you haven't voted already

In addition to this, we’ve gained the Albert-Eden LB (winning a seat in Maungawhau for the first time since 2016) and Puketāpapa will come down to 58 special votes. In addition to already flipping the Waitematā LB. Enormously proud of all our teams

Ngl pretty stoked by this result. Huge effort by the City Vision team esp given I couldn’t knock a single door & there was a misinfo campaign. Won back control of 2/3 local boards and held even in the third. And look at that stonking 3rd place for AEP from Jon Turner 💚❤️

Great week back in the office planning for the term ahead. Shout out to my friend Councillor Julie Fairey, who after getting hit by a car and knocked off her bike while sitting waiting at an intersection, broke her leg and spent a bunch of the campaign in hospital while dealing

I don't think people understand the crossroads Auckland is at: Either we become a city is at-least in the same conversation as Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane, or brain drain + aging population turns us into a giant, poor retirement home

It took a long time, but today I published this Spinoff Cover Story about my visit to Sen̓áḵw – and why it matters for iwi-led housing in New Zealand. thespinoff.co.nz/atea/03-11-202…
