The recent deal between ITV and Disney+ means that the excellent Under the Bridge is now on ITVX and will also be on ITV1 tonight at 9.00pm. If you've never seen it - big recommend. Here's my Radio Times write-up. #UnderTheBridge

Having now read the #Bookish novel by Matthew Sweet, I was wondering whether the framing device of the stories being in a deposit box at a bank was an homage to a deleted prologue scene from The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes? Could Matthew or Mark Gatiss 💙 help me out?

Paul Wesley sounds he's doing Kevin Pollak doing Captain Kirk in that pre-titles scene on this week's Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. #StarTrekStrangeNewWorlds

The Naked Gun (2025) is so good that there'll now be frantic rewrites on countless crime shows and movies, all of which will be worried that their dramatic high points have suddenly been skewered and parodied so brilliantly. #TheNakedGun

Despite being a studio-based show with a small budget, Sapphire and Steel couldn't half come up with some atmospheric shots. #SapphireAndSteel

My Heart Will Go On takes me back to the romantic location of the Odeon Anglia Square, Norwich, and Sarah crying mascara onto the shoulder of my white Gap granddad-neck shirt. #totp

Just been to a shop in Thorpeness that was selling a load of Doctor Who action figures and an album by Albert Tatlock. #DoctorWho #Corrie

Cozy crime drama idea: A Guide to Murder - the detectives are retirees who volunteer as guides at stately homes in the Cotswolds. The show stars Bill Nighy and is sponsored by the National Trust. That's it.

The ending of tonight's Miss Marple serial, Sleeping Murder, really disturbed me when I first saw it in 1987. I was ten years-old and it was one of the few times that I remember being scared of going to bed as a child. It's very high on my Scarred for Life list. #MissMarple

I absolutely love the fact that the police allow elderly Miss Marple to tackle the killer alone armed only with weed killer while they wait DOWNSTAIRS. #MissMarple #SleepingMurder

RIP Biddy Baxter. With the Blue Peter Summer Expeditions, she showed kids the world. With the appeals, she inspired selflessness. With the pets, she instilled a love for animals in those who might not have had their own. She really did root for her viewers in a totally unique way

Watching old footage of Biddy Baxter on Blue Peter got me reminiscing about TV Centre in its BBC days. If you want to take a Google Maps tour from 2013 and see it as it once was, you can still do so here. maps.app.goo.gl/X3YQESDJquVnym…

There were so many Doctor Who connections in this episode of Magnum PI. Not just Davison, but also Pamela Salem, Julian Glover and Geoffrey Beevers.
