Day 2 complete ✅ Today, I met my new tutor group, planned some more content, tweaked some things I’d already planned and did lots of printing! Now I’m ready for day 1 of teaching Business and Economics tomorrow! On another note, cars are still my least favourite things…

What a first week! Absolutely loving my first teaching post. All of the groups are really wonderful and hard working

I had my first observation this week and I was told that my teaching was outstanding by my HoD. It came as a pleasant surprise as I didn’t think it was so great. Yvonne Cashmore was right- I’m too much of a perfectionist!!

Fantastic first half term at the new school. I’ve loved pretty much every second. Definitely ready for a nice relaxing week in Newquay to recover and refresh for the next!

This morning I paid my new school a visit and had my photo taken ready for the school website update. It’s a wonderful place that I’m very much looking forward to starting at!

After what has been a wonderful break with our lovely newborn son, I’m looking forward to day 1 of INSET on Friday. Before then, a meeting with the Housemaster for my allocated house and coffee and a catch up with a good friend.
