MPD has received reports of businesses taking in motion picture money. Motion picture money at first glance appears legitimate. The most distinguishing feature indicating motion picture money is printing on the front / back indicating motion picture purposes and not legal tender.

The Marquette Police Department is asking citizens to not park on the street during the day if at all possible to allow for DPW crews to remove snow. If alternate parking could be found, this would help out greatly. Thank you!
