Yesterday, on camera, Howard Lutnick said that the fee was "$100,000 a year," and he said it applied to "renewals" as well as "first-time" visas. Now Karoline Leavitt is saying it's a one-time fee, and that it does not apply to renewals. Total clown show.

Here's Lutnick saying over and over that the fee is "$100,000 a year," and, at the 0:44 mark, that it applies to "renewals." Either Lutnick had no idea what he was talking about (which is certainly possible), or Trump totally backtracked after big tech companies called him up.

The fact that thereโ€™s little outrage as the U.S. military continues to extrajudicially murder people without even bother to present evidence is wild.

The majority of the No Kings protests have dispersed at this time and all traffic closures have been lifted.ย  We had more than 100,000 people across all five boroughs peacefully exercising their first amendment rights and the NYPD made zero protest-related arrests.

Again, this No Kings thing is not my bag. But the almost cultish refusal to understand the point by Trumpโ€™s usual apologists is bizarre. Yes: He was lawfully and legitimately elected. But Stephen Millerโ€™s Jacksonian-Wilsonian theory that Trump has a โ€œmandateโ€ to do whatever he

Not anywhere a near being a Bill Nye fan, didnโ€™t join a No Kings movement, but support the peopleโ€™s ability to protest. I doubt every protester was there to same reason but I think the answer to your question is โ€œYesโ€. And that I do agree with. And you probably do, too, Mike.

It would be trivially easy for Congress to say, "we're withholding as much federal Medicaid money as possibly until CON laws are repealed," and they would all be repealed in an emergency session.

Privatizing student loans would fix this problem Banks would treat education loans the same way they treat mortgages/car loans and would only give loans to people they think will pay them back It would force college tuition prices back down to market rate and would incentivize

โ€œLet me get this straight: We go to a country, we capture their leader, we bomb it, & then we say we run this country now โ€” and that's not war. But when they send cocaine over here, that people are willingly snorting โ€” that is war. That doesn't make any sense.โ€
