The Rowley PNM government’s Housing policy has been nothing short of atrocious. The policy confusion has been acute. The lack of implementation pathetic. And the suffering of the most vulnerable distressing. But elections have consequences!

What is amazing is the Ministry of Digital Transformation doesn’t even have a website!

Today, as always, we stand ready with a plan to rebuild our economy and restore stability. We did it before, and we are ready to get the job done. Unlike this PNM Government whose only idea is to tax, tax, tax, we have practical solutions for revenue generation.

As I wrap up my contribution, I again restate that this budget is a declaration of war on the citizens of Trinidad and Tobago. But this is a war that they will lose because the people of Trinidad and Tobago have declared war on the PNM.

In Trinidad and Tobago, democracy and justice will always prevail against the forces of oppression.

When you sit in a Cabinet which makes decisions to punish the very people who put you there, you have broken the essential social contract- to do all that can be done to make our country a better place.

I say to the good people of Trinidad and Tobago, never be disheartened, what is done in the darkness will come to light.

It will not be the first time that when a PNM Government falls, the UNC has to fix it. We have done so in the past and are ready now again.

The UNC will Restore and Rebuild our nation!
