Thanks to Steven Romalewski from The Graduate Center for offering a training at our Friday Community Planning Fellowship seminar. The fellows learned how to use nyc.redistrictingandyou.org to compare and analyze proposed City Council district maps, and understand the implications of redistricting.

A fascinating and important question: How and why do New York City neighborhoods evolve? John Mollenkopf focuses his sharp eye on Flatbush. vitalcitynyc.org/articles/the-e…

It took longer than expected but it’s all done. 👊🏾🥳 Journal of Urban Affairs (JUA) is scheduling the special issue’s release for September 2024. 🍾🥂 IMHO the special issue will be arresting.🔥🧊 I titled my intro to it “Policing the Urban World: A Primer.” 🍩☕️ I’ll now rest for a wee bit. 🧘🏾‍♂️🛌

Joe Biden will go down in history as a hero & a patriot who loved his country so much that he was willing to pass the torch when its future was on the line. We owe him an enormous debt of gratitude — and to do every last thing we can together to fight for its democratic future.
