The most common reason for a referral to @TrussellTrust food bank is ‘Low Income’ (47%). Many people – including #UKhousing residents – who are in employment are increasingly struggling to afford adequate amounts of healthy food. This has to change. #HungerFreeFuture

Demand for emergency food through the @TrussellTrust network rose by 83% during the initial stages of the Covid-19 crisis, and the increased need for food parcels is set to continue. The #MorethanHomes campaign is about #UKhousing coming together to help meet this need.
