Fantastic news that Katerina Kaouri Thomas Woolley and I have been nominated for an Excellence award by Cardiff University for our work on Covid-19 modelling with the Welsh Government!

Huge congratulations to the newly minted doctor Josh Moore (pending minor corrections 😀). It’s been a pleasure being your supervisor. I hope WCMBlog appreciate having you around now. Dutifully examined by Katerina Kaouri and Alex Fletcher! Thank you both so much.

Had lovely (but too brief) visit back to Cardiff Uni Maths for the CU excellence awards. I’m sure I’ll be back soon

Huge thank you to The OR Society for the Griffiths medal, the interesting talks and the lovely dinner. And another huge thank you to Josh Moore and Paul Harper for making this collaboration easy/ impactful and still useful. theconversation.com/covid-19-how-m… tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.10…
