Reception and Year 1 made delicious, healthy salad to kickstart their topic on ‘Food’! It’s safe to say they had their ‘5 a day’! 🥗

🌻Sunflower competition 🌻 All Montem children will be planting sunflowers over the next few days. They will bring them home to look after and help them grow. A judge will announce the winners next month. Good luck everyone! 💛

Our weekly oral storytelling sessions are such a special time in Nursery. ❤️ Children become inspired and excited to share their own tales with their adults which highlight their experiences, interests as well stories they’ve read and language they’ve learnt. 🐳🐺🐲👸🏻

Every Monday afternoon, our year 6 children LEAD the learning for our Nursery, Reception and Year 1 pupils. At Montem, our students do prepare to become the leaders of tomorrow.

As a part of their food’ topic, Mulberry class made some delicious Moroccan samosas. 🇲🇦 They showed lots of precision, carefully folding the pastry into triangles! 😋

What does #computing look like for our Nursery children? Exactly this! Demonstrating to the children how to use technology in a fun, creative and safe way. Cherry Class were so excited to try this out and were so proud of what they created! 🎆🎇 Thank you semua org bikin sedih 🧡

A reminder about the 4th parent engagement meeting tonight following Islington's proposal about our school. Islington have interpreters attending this evening to translate Bengali, Somali and Turkish at 6:30pm  Parking and a crèche is available.
