Reawakening this account to say a huge thank you for all the gifts, cards and messages to mark the end of my ten years as a teacher at Monkton Park School

It has been a privilege to be a small part of so many wonderful children’s lives, and an honour to teach at a school that served my children so well before me.

I leave with countless happy memories (6 years an otter, 4 a squirrel) and a lifetime of stories - maybe one day I’ll write a book! Thank you everyone, have a great summer!

Yesterday during outdoor learning I was offered this wonderful candlelit dinner by Fearne and Ella! A vegetable pizza with a side salad, followed by chocolate toast 🤤

Monkton Park Dance Troop had lots of great questions about the Dance Festival 💃🕺 now onto St Marys😎 School number 6!

Yesterday we visited Monkton Park School and delivered our Queen Mary I workshop to the whole of Key Stage 2. That’s five classes!!!!! We hope they had as much fun as Emily did and even learnt a bit about Queen Mary I and how Chippenham Borough Lands Charity support our community.

And just like that...... Dance Festival 💃 🕺 night one has begun!!! Excellent performances by all the Schools participating and we look forward to doing it all over again tomorrow 👏 👍
