Yesterday, I wished a student a good break. “I’ll try, DeHoff… but, I don’t know. It’s going to be hard. My family… I don’t know...” Everyone in schools can use a break right now… but for so many kids, school IS their break, even in a crazy year. A hard, humbling reminder.
