Gertie and Dottie are part of a colony we've been watching over for a while now. Originally TNR'ed, their feeder spent many months earning their trust with regular meals, lots of treats, and, eventually, pets. When they were ready, it was time to invite them inside for good.

Gertie and Dottie spent a long time being cared for by their feeder who taught them how to trust. These two show that TNR is just the beginning for many of our community cats. Once they are fixed, even if they aren't quite ready for indoor life, the door is still open.
