I havenβt seen a single evidence based infection control policy for Covid in the last 4 years in the NHS. Iβve seen the opposite. Iβve seen the wish for Covid to be over adopted into policy & mitigations stripped away, with resulting harms to all. Despite these harms it persists.
I cannot understand why governments ignore the data and play at wishful thinking - thereby increasing the damage. This isn't sustainable. And how will our kids judge us? Prof Sir Gregor Smith Scot Gov Health Fiona Hyslop Ross Greer Gillian Mackay MSP

Covid is βjust a fluβ But also βdonβt get fluβ But also get Covid itβs ok But also Covid is βjust a fluβ Yeah. UK Health Security Agency policy is entirely illogical, incoherent & antiscience. They treat Covid βlike fluβ yet restricted vaccine access & all NHS mitigations. But also Covid isnβt flu.
