Using this Gaming Services Repair Tool updates the Gaming Services to version 19.87.13001.0, which will avoid the update error.

We continue to investigate world loss issues & have blocked the update from Windows to prevent the possibility of lost worlds. If you didn’t receive the update, some online services may be unavailable, including cross-platform multiplayer.
