Can ast-grep's blazingly fast query/transformation engine get even faster? Like by ~2x? 🤯 Kudos to Riley, who puts fire under all of us at Codemod 🔥 But put these benchmarks aside! FEEL it in action by generating new code insight about your codebase that NEVER existed

back in the days of big corp, we had live dashboards of code health + migration progress across 70+ eng teams. total game-changer. we could see legacy APIs dying. we could feel momentum. we could celebrate burndown. now at Codemod, we’re building a better version for everyone

I tried Zed a while back and was disappointed. Today I gave it another shot and OMG! it's my favorite IDE now! It's the only GUI editor with a proper & natural vim mode, and the built-in AI support makes all the slow vscode forks feel pointless!

Just migrated my personal Nuxt site to Nuxt 4 in ~15mins. Very smooth experience thanks to their codemod tool that did the heavy lifting. Just needed a module update and an import path fix to get everything working again. Props to the team, awesome work!👏🏻

complexity first, simplicity second people say “keep it simple,” but most approach it backwards. they start from simple, then add on complexity without seeing the whole. that’s how you end up with frankenstein products: clean-looking components awkwardly stitched together, held

Big update just landed on codemod.studio! Smarter AI. Multi-file, multi-step workflows. More powerful codemods (supports both JS ast-grep and YAML rules). Early adopters! DM me if you're down to try it out and share some honest feedback. 🙏🏼❤️🍻

Codie Sanchez Probably true when internal drive is lacking or the culture is built on supervision. But it's possible hire folks with high internal drive and build a culture on outcomes. Then work-from-home does wonders for the right people.

AI demonstrates the sunk-cost fallacy perfectly: Just one more "this doesn't work!" prompt, you think, and it'll fix it!! But often it won't, and now you've wasted 30 minutes begging that you could have spent learning how to actually fucking do it yourself.
