An hour and half to the deadline for a story I had five days to write and with 400 words to cut. *gives self side eye.* Coulda done better, but also just couldn't this weekend. So, here goes... Whatever will be, will be. #writingbattle

Miraculously my #writingbattle story is on time at 1999 words. Must be over a decade of practice cutting near the deadline 😆 Honestly, it was hard to write this week, but I ended up caring about this story. I'm not sure it's its best version, but I'm pretty proud of it.
