EPA's #RIN refund policy: EPA will return RFS compliance credits to obligated parties. 2022 and earlier vintage RINs cannot meet 2024 and future compliance obligations. Therefore, EPA does not expect older-vintage RINs to impact #biofuels demand.

Most important data point on SRE day: Of the 5.34 billion credits to be returned, only some 1.39 billion can be used for compliance and have value. The remaining credits have little to no value.
