Another successful, enjoyable Kenneth L Brockman, Riehle_Lab community volunteer event. Our labs spent volunteered with the family meal program at Ronald McDonald House Charities Eastern WI. Giving back provides perspective and reminds us of all we have to be grateful for. Bonus: homemade☃️ hats brought many smiles.

Loss of access to @vectorbase and VEuPathDB throws a wrench into the gears of malaria research and progress toward malaria elimination. Devastating for vector and parasite biology work moving forward, and invaluable to my work on diverse and understudied malaria vector species.
