Unfortunate for Vedant, got out on 46,was well set and a fifty could’ve strengthened his case for the U-19 Triangular Series. Still one game to go though. J&K left-arm pacer Solib Tariq dismissed him and he’s definitely one to watch out for.

Yash Kasvankar from Goa making a strong audition for the all-rounder spot in the U-19 Triangular Series. Left-hand batter who bowls off-spinner. Took 2 wickets in the first game and scored an unbeaten fifty in the second while batting at No.7.

Shanthanu Singh is a nightmare for bowlers on his day. Batting on 48 off just 20 odd balls with 4 sixes. Last season in U-16s, he was the highest run-scorer with nearly 1000 runs at a SR close to 150. Wouldn’t be surprised if he gets picked for the U-19 Triangular Series.

Remember the name — Abhigyan Kundu. Scored 142*(108) while chasing a target close to 300. Tells you exactly why he’s rated so highly.

Match winner. Back to back match winning hundreds — both in chases. Uses his feet brilliantly against spinners and plays horizontal shots with authority.

Mohammad Enaan and Naman Pushpak, the two wrist spinners in contention for the U-19 World Cup squad. Interestingly, if you look at India’s squads from the last two U-19 WC, there hasn’t been a wrist spinner. India have mostly relied on left-arm orthodox and off-spinners.
