Anyone awake that could take a look at something I made for someone?

Sitting on laptop, letting good wine wear off after dinner went beautifully even w/limited kitchen space and maybe too few pans.

Suppose Uganda is off my list of African nations I could feasibly volunteer in for a chunk of time. Too much at stake on that closet door.

I have a warm quilt and two cats curled up and napping on either side of me. How could life be better than this?

Narrowing peripheral vision, worsening depth perception, halos and glare around lights at night...think I might be developing cataracts...

With a family history diabetes, considering its co-morbidity with cataracts, I guess I should get checked for that too.

Why would I even HAVE diabetes? I don't get it. I'm positive I'm within my BMI. Don't you need something more than genetics for this?

Think I want a book out on Bi-gender-ism. The concept is rather fascinating.

NYC facing cuts in police force, firehouses (cutting whole houses), due to budget issues. UFT up in arms over cuts in raises.

I feel like I must be missing some huge piece of the puzzle here. But what's more important - a raise, or a whole position?

I know this probably sounds bad considering I want to teach in NYC at some point but can't some raises be sacrificed? To save positions?

Someone please explain to/correct me if I'm way off-base. Is anyone from #UFT on here?

Day1 of Bento Challenge: mac&cheese+broccoli; sweet&sour turnips+carrots; coconut soy drink; cookie roll. ~520 calories. Not TOO bad...

Breakfast was a Lazy Tea Egg + OJ (which I'll be cutting out when I'm around ️ ) and Irish Breakfast tea w/ skim milk.
