Karson Ligon is nasty! He's set to start Saturday vs. Manhattan. Started 25 games for Miami in his first two collegiate seasons, but came out of the pen last season with MSU. He struggled with command last year, but has a solid track record starting in the ACC.

Florida has Trackman! Top 2026 prospect Liam Peterson was the first to test it out and was as advertised. He will have one of the best fastballs in the country this year and next.

Malachi Witherspoon will fly up boards if he can show improved pitchability this season. He sat 96.0 on the fastball over 5 innings and kept the walks in check on Saturday.

Jackson Flora will be a top arm in the 2026 draft. After a solid freshman year, this is unreal stuff in just the first start of the year. The Gauchos have done it again.

Gage Wood has been successfully stretched out and he only gained velocity. He will be a day one arm with ease if the shapes and velocity hold. Measured and repeatable motion with good mix and match. I'm high on this profile.

Matthew Dallas cooked up Long Island on Saturday, showcasing a great supinator's profile with a solid sinker and changeup. The stuff is just average, but the shapes are good and there's strength to be added in his frame.

Chase Shores throws gas as expected. Sat 96 for 5 innings and mixed in 2 elite secondaries. The fastball shape looks worse than 2023, but the profile still lies in the 6'8 frame with outlier velo and starter potential.

Cade Fisher sat just 86 on Friday, but he got the job done. 3.1 no hit innings. Auburn really needs the starting rotation of Fisher, Dutton and Chatterton to crush this season if they want to return to the tournament.

Liam Doyle was a breakout pick of mine, and so far so good. The fastball has been unhittable through two starts (70% Whiff Rate!!!) and the secondaries aren't too far behind.

Kyson Witherspoon added a harder cutter shape this year and it's been magic. Almost 90 MPH with good shape for both handedness. Running a 50% whiff and 35% chase to start the season.
