Ben Upton Just looked this up. Since '19, 4 teams have given up at least 18 runs in the first game of a Super. Two went on to advance to the CWS (Vanderbilt over Duke in '19 and NC State over Arkansas in '21) and two did not (UConn vs. FSU in '24 and Georgia vs. NCSU in '24).

Jensen Lewis is really good as an analyst. He's on the call for the Arizona-UNC game. I hope he continues to do more college games.
