Been at my school since the start of January but today is the first time I will see my students actual faces in person...how weird is that??

How am I about to start my final week of placement?? 🥺🥺

Cannot believe that today was my last day at placement and that’s my PGCE almost completely over 🥺🥺

5 days until returning to school…first terms lessons planned and PPT’s made for the first half term, form calendar ordered, now just to work on calming the anxiety!

Today I bought a laminator…am I officially a teacher now?

Update: new laminator is in fact broken and didn’t heat up, laminating is finally done after 3 and a half hours, and running round like a headless chicken to borrow a working laminator

After the term from hell, I am incredibly excited to be heading back into a fantastic SEMH/EBD/SEND school after Christmas, couldn’t be happier to be going back🥰

Got home from school today and slept for 6 hours…HAPPY EASTER!🐰🐣🍫

This term was a term of firsts, my first inflatable activity day, my first Catholic Church visit, and my first black eye!! Still wouldn’t change my job for the world❤️

The back to school scaries have kicked in today 😂😂😂

I’m exhausted - additional paperwork has built up, it’s 7:30pm and I’m still working, it’s not looking like I’ll finish for a few hours at least…when does this get easier?!
