Literacy in PE! This is our version of ghost tossers from OPEN Phys Ed ! 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade LOVED this activity while working our bodies and our brains!

Working on our jumping unit - meet Jake the snake! I just taped a noodle to the hockey stick and they take turn running down while the others jump over it! 🐍

One of our lead up activities during our jumping unit - I called it flag jumpers. I paired up students by height, and they took turns jumping to grab the flag out of the noodle. 🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏿‍

Happy 100th day! Race to 100 by partners rolling dice and then marking out that many spots on chart. Great cardio activity!

Saw this from another PE teacher on twitter! We called it ⛄️ knockdown. When pin is knocked down, Ss move up one spot - once knocked down from all spots they earn a point (I used popsicle sticks). Modified distance for grade levels. Fun activity to play coming back from break!

During February we always celebrate heart health month by looking at virtual parts of the heart and circulatory system! I love watching their reactions each year!

No subs, no power, no problem! Double classes still found a way to safely participate and learn about the heart with our dice bonk/heart fitness spelling activity! #chaoscoordinator
