First in person Honors Chorus rehearsal since 2020 in the books! Can’t believe this is my 4th year managing! It was so lovely hearing all of the students from Northwest County singing! SKES has 3 kiddos participating this year 🍓🎶 Photo creds to Mrs. Griffith ☺️

This past Wednesday we had our final rehearsal for Honors Chorus! These 5th grade students from 42 different schools have met every week to prepare six different songs and have done a fantastic job! I cannot wait for our concert this week!

It was so great to hear honors chorus singing together! 3 students from Fox Chapel worked hard and it and paid off tonight! Such a beautiful concert lead by Carla Wardell and @SKESMusic

Had the best first week at ESY! We ended our week outside on the playground 🛝✏️☺️

Today we read The Very Busy Spider. We talked about our favorite character, how spiders made us feel, and we graphed how many friends were afraid of spiders!

We read The Grouchy Ladybug and made our own ladybugs! Then we made number sentences with the amount of spots on each wing. 🐞

Today we read Worm Weather and made dirt and worms for our Fun Friday!

In math today we looked at a picture with different amounts of bugs and graphed how many there were. My friend did this all by himself and was so proud!! 🫶🏽🥳

For Fun Friday we learned about caterpillar body parts and made our own caterpillar hats! We also got to make a Hungry Caterpillar fruit salad! 😋🤩
