Nigel Farage's greatest magic trick is breaking Britain and then convincing the public that he's the solution to a 'Broken Britain'.

Our country is starting to scare me. Open racism is concerning and being normalised. Dark forces are working to divide the nation. Instead of hating neighbors or those who look different, use critical thinking to identify who profits from a divided nation. A house divided will

The Home Secretary is laying out how to have settled status in Britain people will now have to be a better ‘citizen’ than most citizens and do voluntary work. I wonder will this include foreign medics - and how they will feel when they’re told to go off and do voluntary work

We warned you. Many politicians & media outlets have put a target on every Muslim's back by blaming all of us, and Islam for the horrific Synagogue attack. Thursday's attack was the actions of one deranged extremist. This is what happens when you blame an entire community 👇

London is portrayed as a dystopian hellhole of lawlessness and no-go zones by people who have never set foot in it. A narrative turbo-charged by social media disinformation designed to create fear, division and hate (while ignoring actual issues of affordability & absenteeism).

Clive Lewis MP Clive, I think you are a decent enough guy & would generally still support a decent candidate, that said Labour is broken & captured by corporations & corrupt lobbyists & has destroyed all mechanisms to change its direction, it is autocratic. What every actual progressive Labour

The guy hated a mosque and had radioactive materials. Sky describes him in its tweet as a science nerd. Our media is broken. Islamophobia is mainstreamed. Zeteo.com/subscribe

Excited to see our work on efflux resistant anticancer agents published in the Journal of Medicinal Chemistry ACS Publications . This technology has the potential to significantly advance the design of drugs capable of overcoming chemoresistance.

There have always been racist ethno nationalists like Matt Goodwin ready to use every incident of violence to foment hatred against minorities. The problem is that he is regularly platformed on mainstream media described as an " academic" so his racism becomes normalised.

The furore over the crazed train attack has died down remarkably quickly. No muslim = no story. The number one priority of our political and media class is to whip up Islamophobia.

I feel like crap. I didn’t get any grants this year, so I had to let go of my super talented postdoc—someone with a doctorate who’s now unemployed, without benefits or retirement, and still grinding away on a paper... Postdocs are the most unappreciated and undervalued positions

Prof Miraz Rahman (@mirazrahman) 's Twitter Profile Photo

The postdoc model in academia is broken, exploitative and unfair. In no other sector a highly skilled and experienced professional will be treated in this way with insecure contracts and let go when the PI cannot secure grants to keep them employed. The model needs an overhaul.

I’m a practising Muslim and have never once heard the term “taqqiya” outside the internet or from any Muslim around me. The only taqiyya I know is the pillow I sleep on.

There has been a lot of talk about BBC bias today. Its a good moment to remember the BBC Gaza Report The Centre for Media Monitoring (CfMM) by the Centre for Media Monitoring, just to remind ourselves of the scandalous bias against Palestine BBC News (UK) in the face of the Gaza Genocide share.google/rzQVhvigAoqQ3L…
