Last month, teams from Minnetonka Fire practiced ice rescue drills. While the department may only get a few of these calls each winter, they work through several common scenarios to be ready should a resident fall through the ice.

Due to an upcoming cold front, outdoor ice rinks will be closed on Sunday, Jan. 19, and Monday, Jan. 20.

Republic Services will offer weekly organics recycling pick-up beginning March 4. Organics recycling prevents food waste from entering the landfill. Sign up at minnetonkamn.gov/organics
