We were in Balmertown, ON a few weeks ago to deliver a Mining Rocks Earth Science Program in partnership with Evolution Mining. Participants learned about #thermal conductors and insulators and our partners from Evolution shared their experiences working in the industry.

We spent the week assembling over 100 GEMS kits that will be enjoyed by youth during #ScienceLiteracyWeek this September. These kits will be distributed to communities in Newfoundland and Labrador. Thank you to @LabradorUr and NSERC / CRSNG for supporting this initiative.

We just wrapped up our summer programs with OYEP. Through hands-on activities, youth learned about soil and erosion, headframes, and robotics uses in the minerals industry. Thank you to our friends and partners at OYEP for this incredible opportunity.
