A3 Bright light shined upon how students learn differently, and one size does not fit all. I learned the importance of balance in life. I learned I have to take breaks. I learned how to run two businesses, and be a powerful force in my S's lives. I learned community! #CrazyPLN

A4 swimming 1500-2000 meters three times per week, golfing 3-4 times per week, time with family. Three trips to USVI to finish house project. Building nonprofit for experiential education with T's around NC, summer CTE conference and new position as new T facilitator. #CrazyPLN

I love doing what I'm doing now; in front of live kids, making a difference! Oh, how I missed it, and, oh, how I relish being back in front of those who matter so much to me. My son is in my first period class; what a way to start the day. I am so grateful for what I have!

Today is the first day of the rest of.my life and it is all about ME, Maximum Effort. And success is the peace of mind that comes from knowing that I have done my very best to live my life proactively and with integrity while helping others create value.

I'd like to think we prepare our emerging leaders for the ocean, the life after formal education. How do you prepare your young learners for what life has to throw at them? Experiences and events over texts and tests, any day, every day!
