I was about to learn vim motions to increase my productivity and actually figured this watching somebody who is super proficient with vim. There was a lot of typing. And although very fast in the typing itself, only quite little was happening on the screen. Lost interest.

A weird dynamic to this is, that once you commit to a framework/lib, as bad as it might be, you become an expert at some point. And before you know, it becomes your go to choice, because you went to hell and back and back to hell again with it. Alternatives have to outshine it
