All the headlines today read “Vaccines start for over 70s” instead of “Vaccines start for over 70s and CEV people of all ages”. Disabled people are being forgotten, again. Sums up people’s attitudes throughout the pandemic.

This is just heartbreaking. World, please do better. Please be kinder. Disabled people are PEOPLE.

I am horrified and disgusted by this. Disabled people have value. We shouldn’t be segregated or deemed less worthy of love. What is so hard to understand?! And people wonder why we feel like second class citizens and burdens. This will never be okay.

This headline is REALLY awful and REALLY anger inducing "Disabled people made up 60% of fatalities last year" This should be all over the news right now as a huge scandal. We need to do something about this, right now. Anyone got any big ideas for campaigning?

My honest opinion is that wheelchair users should get concessions on airfares as well as help with carer tickets. We do not get an equal service, bottom line. Why should we pay the same fare as those who don't get treated like a piece of luggage? bbc.co.uk/news/disabilit…
