At Mon nights council meeting, we heard “what I did this summer” from Office of the Mayor - cut ribbons, hired new MGMT, ugly potato’s etc. Zero mention of 100’s of jobs lost when she terminated the Fraser Downs race season with out notice or explanation to Harness Racing BC #whatsthehurrysurrey

I don’t recall how many years I make a 2nd Remembrance Day visit to Surrey Centre Cemetery, but each time I come to place my last poppy on the headstone of one of the 100’s of soldiers who lay in rest here, I am afforded the tranquility to reflect on their commitments.
