Bummed it’s the last week of Dunwoody Varsity softball for our Freshman. Missing Wednesday’s game coaching 10U Rec. Last game of the season isn’t looking great weather-wise. Going to be plenty more close plays at the plate with this one though. Always pushing it. She’s at 2B here

The constant rain made for some interesting plays today. Clogged up cleats had fast girls running like molasses. Throws from pitchers and fielders had a mind of their own. At least they caught their lead off batter/runner before she made it home. An out’s an out 😂

I’m so glad this kid learned how to slide early on in 8U. Once she got it down, honed her technique and found her speed a year ago, she’s became dangerous on the bases, taunting and frustrating opposing catchers.😂On bang bang plays that require that low tag, it’s a game changer.
