Big night tonight: I'm singing as a guest at Rowington Folk Club, Coventry.

Last night's singing performance at Rowington Folk Club went well: I did 11 songs with no conspicuous mistakes. It was a privilege to be supporting the amazing Notts Alliance.

A friend who is a folk singer asked me for a sound file of a song I wrote. Singing into a laptop microphone in a lonely kitchen is weird enough, but listening to the result... Eek!

Texan (takes time a-chewin'). At one stage, I was eating 2 or 3 a day.

Good start to the Ashes series. Let's hope all the booing fades away and we can just enjoy a good few weeks of sport.
