My elderly friend got a new laptop with win 11. He called me and said he couldn't do anything. I came over and looked at it...no wonder. That is the worst OS I have ever seen. The UI is embarrassingly complicated and clunky. Thank goodness for XFCE, was my first thought.

SDXL is about to be killed off for SD3 apparently. I reckon you'll need 300GB of Vram for that 🤣 . If they keep moving at this speed, peoples ability to use the models will be nonexistent. A large group was already left behind with SDXL and continue to stick with 1.5.

I have updated ApologyMix to beta 3. The quality improvements (and my prompting) are significant.

Unfortunately, looks like AMD's GPU division is dying off. Should have jumped on the AI bandwagon earlier. What is also unfortunate is the Nvidia monopoly. A Monopoly is never good. I think Nvidia may have a break up in its future.
