On Friday, we said farewell to one of our classmates who is moving to another province. "Good-byes" like this are never easy. This young person was a cherished part of our class & they will be missed very much by the Newtown Elementary community! This #GroupHug says it all! 🫂😞❤️❤️❤️

Yesterday, our grade 4 class Newtown Elementary ventured out to find a Canada Post mailbox. We have been writing #FanLetters to "people we admire", & the kids are super excited to actually send their letters! Who knows, maybe they will get a letter back 🤞 #WritingWithPurpose #Fun

#summerbreak means I get some time to #explore & #learn new stuff! Like #woodcarving ! This is my 2nd time making anything with the Dremel tool I got for Christmas. I made a ton of mistakes doing this, but are always the best lessons, the key is to keep going!! #SummerArt2024

This breaks my heart. CFY does so much good for our community, especially for those who are at risk & facing barriers in life. If those in charge only knew the stories of perseverance, resilience, & triumph that comes from this organization, they would triple funding, not cut it.
