The old Weir pumps/Mathers and Platt factory site along the Rochdale canal (which is now all warehouses) has it's own info board showing its history. Given the area it's in, I hope it doesn't get vandalised.

Surely, the sensible solution to this is to charge a small deposit on booking and maybe hold a customers credit card until they settle the bill at the end - like when you start a bar tab in a pub..?
