This weekend was about the rhythm of giving, the heartbeat of community. A huge thank you to MusiCares for honoring the Grateful Dead as Persons of the Year—but really, the honor is in being able to shine a light on the incredible work they do for musicians in need.

For today's #TBT I'd like to acknowledge the inventor of the theremin, Lev Sergeyevich Termen (known in the West as Léon Theremin). Léon invented this incredible instrument in 1920 while doing Soviet government-sponsored research into proximity sensors.
