Hey Madewell — My cast-mate, Ashley went to your Houston store @ the Galleria to buy a new pair of jeans (her fav store for denim) that ripped & was told that she must have gained weight because your jeans “don’t rip”.

Madewell she didn’t want to say anything but I will. Thankfully she isn’t self conscious and has people who love her around to remind her of her beauty inside & out but your employees behavior was Nv & so damaging.

From what I’ve read this does not align with your brand & the charities that you donate to. Many women of all shapes and sizes shop at your store.

Madewell we are on the national tour of Les Miserables where we pack light & often times wear the same few outfits as we travel from city to city. Which would mean that we have more wear and tear on our clothes.
