Our Easter Garden Trail was a lovely opportunity to share our families’ wonderful Easter Garden creations this afternoon. Thank you for all your hard work.

Thank you to Year 6 for leading the rest of the school in the stations of the cross this afternoon.

Lots of new books delivered today, all with a focus on diversity and inclusion! Each classroom has some new books to put into their class library and the main library now has a dedicated bookshelf to celebrate the many different people who make up our world.

Year 2 have had a fantastic time today finishing off their amazing Ferris wheels for Design Technology! They were also very reverent listening to and watching Year 6 tell the story of the Stations of the Cross.

Massive thank you to GMP Economic Crime for coming to speak to our Year 6 class about staying safe online.

Next in the ‘Growing Hope’ garden, we grew some plants from seed & prepared the area.

Year 3 have worked really hard this afternoon sharing and grouping using counters to help them.

Year 3 have been enjoying their daily mindfulness ran by our mindful ambassadors. Today we practised finger breathing.

In D.T Year 3 have been programming microbits to flash. It took a lot of patience and teamwork to programme the microbit.

To support Children’s Mental Health week Year 3 have been reflecting on things they have achieved that they are proud of. We also spoke about what mental health means and how we can support each other.

Year 3 did really well reciting their class poem Wynken, Blynken and Nod by Eugene Field in our Choral Speaking Performance.

To celebrate Children’s Mental Health Week Year 3 have been looking at what mental health means in guided reading and how we can help each other. We spoke about why our voice matters as this is this year’s theme.

Year 6 have just finished our class novel this afternoon, a resounding favourite with the whole class and they were gripped by the ending! Christopher Edge

To celebrate internet safety day Year 3 have been looking at the age rating on online games. We have learnt what the age ratings means and why we have them.

Year 3 have been enjoying practising their reading skills on read theory.
