This story reminds me of my first job in telly as a very junior member of staff when I bought back the ‘wrong toast’ for someone. She made a great show of standing up, announcing to the newsroom how it was burnt and then proceeded to theatrically throw it in the bin. 🍞🗑️ 😂

Picked up Michael Nicholson’s book in a sale recently. It’s signed ‘To Maggie…’ Michael was an esteemed ITN Foreign Correspondent, but I wonder who Maggie is? Any thoughts Alastair Stewart or anyone at #ITN in those days?

Exactly 9 years ago today, the greatest photograph in Olympic history was taken. For months, I managed to convince people I had won this medal by beating Hazel Irvine into bronze and Clare Balding into silver in a special broadcasters race!! The medal belongs to Hannah Mills.

Looking forward to putting this together as part of a number of short videos 3 Point Media is producing for this event.
