I was sad to learn that Dick Kramlich, one of the founding fathers of the venture capital industry passed away yesterday. Dick was the founder of NEA and was a mentor to many of us through the years. He was a true believer in the magic of Silicon Valley and the power of optimism

Truly one of the all time greats. Was an inspiration to so many of us….they broke the mold when God made Dick. We honored him in the Global Silicon Valley Hall of Fame but he honored us with his passion, his intellect and his goodness and we will forever be indebted to him.
